I have also filed complaints with the Nevada Gaming Commission, Nevada Attorney General, Iowa Gaming Commission, Federal Trade Commission, USPS Inspector General, Caesar’s Entertainment CEO, and the Iowa Attorney General asking to remedy and make whole everyone affected by this bait and switch mailing. This mailing is clearly a bait and switch tactic to generate unearned hotel room, food and gaming income for Caesar’s Entertainment. This is a clear violation of both the Nevada and Iowa false advertising laws. The promotional mailing doesn't say anything about casino play nor does it indicate that the promo code can be deemed invalid at any time. Ariana also told me this offer was based on my casino play. However, when going online and looking at the Caesar's reservation calendar, the promo date was open for both nights and rooms were available at both properties. They would not tell me why the promo was no longer valid, only that there were no rooms available for August 10 & 11 indicating that both the Horseshoe and Harrah's rooms in Council Bluffs, IA were both completely booked. I was told by Ariana, and her supervisor, my 'promotional code was no longer valid' but they could give me a room for the 'special rate' of $196.00 per night. When I tried to reserve the room online, a message came up indicating that I had to call 88 to make the reservation. I made extensive and detailed arrangements to meet friends & family at the Council Bluffs, Harrah’s property where I have stayed on numerous occasions. So naturally, I was looking forward to being able to visit the Council Bluffs, IA casinos. I received a promotional mailing offering 3 free nights hotel, $25.00 food credit and $45.00 free slot play (see enclosed) from Caesar’s Entertainment. Front desk next day informed me that no one was in the room and couldn’t find our clothes. We were lied to that they couldn’t check our room because another guest was in the room and had to wait until next day. Transferred calls disconnected and yet to hear from a manager. Lastly I forgot some clothing in the closet and have tried for two days to locate them. Chicken burger was hard and couldn’t even bite through the sandwich. Some were done eating before others even received their food orders. Had a bad experience as well with at their restaurant (Guys) bridal party family gathering (table of 10) and food arrived to our table at different times. Tub was clogged with ankle deep water in the shower which maintenance fixed the next day. Shower and shower curtain in our room had black mold.

For the cost of the rooms not worth it not to mention zero hospitality!! Front desk personnel were rude as if we were bothering them for assistance. Terrible experience at Harrahs Council Bluffs.
